We kicked it off at 10pm. Played acoustic until around 11pm. Then did not stop again until 1:50, ya'll wanted more and we played till 2:02am. Goodbye Matt! It was his last night bartending at Bleacher's. He was seen off by his bro and Dad.

Let's break it down:

Mike & Dawn Fuqua now own Bleacher's and they rock!! They always make us feel so welcome and, well, how do we say this….Dawn is way hot!!! ( don't kill us mike )

Marty was honored to meet Karen Austin from Austin and the Energy & Cameron & Tatum from Crimson Envy. We actually met Tatum a couple of weeks ago. Both of these bands are chalk full of awesomely nice peeps….go check 'em out when u can….

Cody/chad and Patrick…..u guys are our true friends..thanks as always..

Oh no, oh no!!! It was on Friday night!!! The weather is wrecking our voices but not our spirits!! WE showed up and the crowd was a little thinner than our last 3 gigs BUT the level of fun was a 10!!. We made some new friends and saw some old ones for the first time in a while. Let's break it down, Kinky Wizards style :

November 14, 2004Somebody show some love for the Kinky Wizards and sign our guestbook. This weekend was bitter sweet. We had some stuff jacked, an awesome night at bleachers, a crazy surreal mix up on a booking. WE all finally got on the same page, played Whiskey River Saturday night and one of our friends said it was the best Kinky Wizards show ever for him. Super crazy! Sorry more of ya could not be there. I think the small venue was more personal with the friends of the band. Phil jammed with us, as did Benn, both from Tragedy. And then to top the night off, Fat Cowboy, not 2, not 3 but all 4 members of Fat Cowboy came in and jammed for about 20 mins on our rig. It was classic! Dane was one of the very first cats to give us a chance to play and it was good to rip it up at Whiskey, it's been too long. Just wish we would have had our dates straight and less inclement weather. Working on the pics. Some real hotties at Whiskey and Bleachers from both night. And lots of single guys for the ladies.

Our friends were out in full force!! We had taken the Halloween weekend off and we were ready for some good times. The show was different than most, Marty's voice cratered due to illness on the off week. Noe stepped up and blew his voice out singing more than usual. Thanks Noe!!! Sad news today. Kami and Chad Pruett's Dad passed away Monday. His name was Garry and like Chad said, there was not one person who did not like him. I met him and was around him from time to time. He was a nice, easy going likeable guy and had the best hair. When the time comes, that is what really matters, how you touched others lives. He will be sorely missed. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Chad, Kami, Kassie and all who knew and loved Garry. Rest in peace our dear friend.

Bill has got to be one of the most talented, nice and charismatic guys we know…thanks man for hanging…He is a virtuoso on guitar, ill find out the name of his group and when they play and post it later on……somebody send me the info…

Bleacher's 7th Birthday Bash w. Fat Cowboy & Electric Gypsies
June 19th, 2004

We got a call from Kurt asking us if we were interested. We did not know who all would be included, except for the Electric Gypsies. Then we got the call back from Kurt and we knew it was on. It was official us, EG and Fat Cowboy. Noe has known Slyker forever and they are super cool buds. Both are drummer/singers and they favor so much. It was gonna be fun. Marty kept telling the guys we should start at 8pm. They were like, nah - nobody will be out that early. I did not care and I insisted. We showed up at 7:30pm. ( some of us did, rick) and it was packed. We could not believe it!!! Kendall from the Gypsies helped Raymond with the sound and we were up and running without in hitches by 8.15 or so. We were allowed to play until 9:45 and we had the best time. Thanks for jack for letting NOe use his drums. They had never met and it was super cool of him to allow that. Mike. Mike from Fat Cowboy! Mike and Marty had a long chat. It turns out that Mike is the real thing. A real rockstar. Some guys have lives on the side. Not Mike, he lives for the stage and the next party he will make it to. Right Mike? A true showman. See, I was listening. You have got to be one of the coolest cats I have ever met. Thanks to u and Slyker for getting the party started by dancing!!! You guys are awesome. We really enjoyed partying with both bands and the fans after our show. That was the best for us. To all the people who said nice things after our show, thank u so much. We do this for the people and when yall have a good time, it makes our week. We met many of Fat Cowboys fans. Those guys are fanatics. A special shout out to Jaffo. He takes the pictures for Fat Cowboy and he is always behind the scenes. What a great friend for a band to have!! We took lots of pics. There are some great pics of the Gypsies and Fat Cowboy mixed in with our regular pics. Enjoy. We wish we could play with you guys once a month. It was a total thrill ride for us all. We love ya all. Especially the pretty girls!! Ha.
